An experimental video piece that explores the connection between 'Self' and 'Soil.'

In an attempt to observe the soil, the artist digs into the ground, encountering a multitude of other elements such as plants, tree roots, insects, urban noises, and people's voices. The notion of a simple relationship between 'Self' and 'Soil' becomes untenable.

"自分"と"土"という頭に浮かんだ２つ言葉を結びつけるために実験的に行った映像作品。

土を見るため、土により近づくために穴を掘り進めるが、その過程には多くの存在(植物、木の根、昆虫、街の音、人々の声など)があり、私と土だけという関係は成立しない。
